McCarthy and Spencer are the only good things about this film.
and not even that is enough to justify a rewatch in our eyes.
Although commercially successful,Tammyis a misfire in every way that matters.
Seemingly given very little work with, McCarthys comedic timing and ab lib prowess stand out.
Sadly, its not enough to make this film work.
The two naturally clash and end up teaming up for a cross-country road trip together.
Unfortunately, the writing relies too heavily on bad jokes and cheap tricks to flow well.
Overall,The Bossis skippable but not without its merits.

McCarthysGilmore Girlssweetness shines throughoutSuperintelligence, making it a half-decent choice.
Reunited with the fantastic Octavia Spencer, the two stumble into heroism and become acrime-fighting duo.
Sadly, their dynamic isnt enough to placeThunder Forceany higher on this list.

12.The Happytime Murders(2018)
Do you like theMuppets?
Great, becauseThe Happytime Murdershas none of the family-friendly content and all of the puppets.
Joined byBridesmaidsco-star Maya Rudolph and Joel McHale ofCommunityfame, McCarthy plays Connie Edward, an LA detective.
She joins up with her former partner, a puppet PI to solve a string of puppet murders.
It has all the hijinks if very little of the flair.

McCarthy is likable as ever in this unconventional take on female empowerment.

In short,The Ninesdoes what few movies dotake Melissa McCarthy seriously.
Vincent(2014)
Melissa McCarthys string of comedy films came to a brief pause with the release ofSt.
Spearheaded by comedy-legend Bill Murray,St.
Vincentis a feel-good drama about a cantankerous, cigarette-smoking older man who starts looking after his new neighbors son.
Although Bill Murray is the star of this show, Melissa McCarthys role as the mother is worth mentioning.
She delivers an overall pleasant performance that is neither overpowering nor uninteresting next to Murrays magnetism.
St. Vincentis definitely something we wouldnt mind seeing more of.
However, her mourning takes a turn with the arrival of a pesky bird.
The Starlingis a tear-jerker for sure.
If you happen to watch it, bring tissues.
Otherwise, we recommend the remaining movies on this list.

This triad of mob wives reaffirms McCarthys ability to pull punches withoutactuallypunching.
