Iam relatively hard on my gear.
I look at my guns as tools and treat them accordingly.
I ensure they are ready for the job they are designed to handle, but I dont baby them.
The author found the Nanuk 935 was a rugged, waterproof, dustproof, shock-resistant case that protects your sensitive equipment.
Nanuk builds waterproof and impact-resistant cases that help me to do exactly that.
In todays review, I look at the Nanuk 935 6 Up Gun Case.
I taught three classroom classes and three sessions out on the range.
Suitably sized for carry-on duties when flying, the Nanuk proved to be durable enough in the back of a pick-up truck and on the range.
Nanuk 935: The Big Picture
Like all Nanuk cases, the 935 is a beast.
It is waterproof and shockproof and meets IP67 standards.
The case is rated for military and law enforcement use.
The 935 is a lockable case. The locking holes have metal inserts in both the top and bottom for added strength and security.
In other words, it is objectively durable and seems to be built like a tank.
It will fit into the overhead storage without an issue.
It is also suitable for use as checked luggage.
The 935 6 Up Gun Case holds six pistols in upright positions. By removing the center section, the author was able to transport four handguns plus his range gear.
With the right foam inserts, the 935 hard case makes for an exceptionally tough photo gear transport case.
My Thoughts
There is no doubt that Nanuk builds a quality case.

The clasps that keep the case sealed are easy to use. A reasonable amount of pressure closes the latch, and pinching the latch allows it to be opened.
Note the magazine storage sections beside the pistol cutaway slots.
