Frankly, this is not your run-of-the-mill AR550 steel plate.
Testing It Out
I was recently fortunate to have three kits from MGM Targets in for review.
Priced at $460.07, the BC-C Zone target comes with no weld 24 bracket and base.
Steel targets are an excellent training tool. To test these MGM Targets, the author applied rounds from various firearms, including hisXD-M EliteandM1A rifle.
MLS Stands for Modular Locking System, which is how the plates lock to the hangers.
MGM builds their hangers out of the same AR550 steel out of which they make their plates.
The BC-C target that I use has been updated since I received mine in early 2020.
Heavy duty and simple to set up, the MGM Targets offer a lifetime of service. Steel targets can be ordered with a 27˚ angle to deflect spalling downward.
The large bolt and welds have been replaced with a no weld system.
Shooting
Now, lets talk about shooting these targets.
The BC-C Zone targets are designed for the shooter who wants a close-range target that can take a beating.
MGM Targets offers a range of target sizes and shapes to meet your training needs.
Forever Warranty
MGM Targets has everything for everyone.
MGM Targets designs its products to take a beating. The author put his through the wringer and the targets continue to perform.
Shots are easily seen, and the “ping” of a bullet lets you know you are on target. After each shooting string, a quick application of spray refreshes the surface.
