What I mean by that is I started off looking strictly for self-defense-style firearms.
I didnt want anything flashy; just simple and reliable handguns.
From there, I evolved on to rifles and then later shotguns.
Caveman’s Smoke is a heat-activated coating that can be applied to your suppressors. As the suppressor heats up, the colors and graphics begin to show through.
When the flame hit the suppressor, it would change from black to an American Flag.
It is super quiet, lightweight and simple.
This patented tech delivers real-time information about your temps, with visuals like nothing else youve ever seen.
When cold, the Caveman Smoke coating appears to be no different than most common firearms coatings.
In essence, its atopcoat applied just like Cerakoteto any project you could dream up.
Its like magic right in front of your eyes.
No more burnt fingers or melted range bags with the visual aid Smoke provides.
As the Caveman Smoke coating begins to heat up, it starts to change colors. While the graphics can be attractive, they also can serve as a warning that the suppressor is hot.
That will easily tell you youre firing under cool, consistent conditions to optimize accuracy.
The second I got my suppressor back, I headed off to the range.
I had to see what it looked like and how well it worked.
The Caveman Smoke coating has no impact on the normal function of a suppressor.
I then mag dumped it to heat the can up.
As it was 28 degrees and windy out, unfortunately the suppressor didnt get over 130 degrees.
I quickly loaded another 32 rounds and dumped that, followed by one more full mag.
Fully heated, the Caveman Smoke coating shows a distinct design. The colors and designs were truly impressive.
This finally got the can hot enough to reveal the magic.
This revealed the artwork.
I was very impressed.
Shown here are two suppressors. The one on the left is cold, while the heated one on the right features the Smoke coating revealing the author’s selected design.
