Harris Bipods was kind enough to send me a S-BRM-MLOK Bipod 6-9 bipod for review and evaluation.

In a bolt-gun, it allows me to get into a low and stable position.

harris s-brm m-lok bipod evaluation

In this Harris Bipod review, the author evaluates the S-BRM M-LOK using both a Waypoint 2020 and a SAINT Victor.

Also, it works well with an AR-15 as long as Im using a shorter 20-round magazine.

If youre planning to use a 30-round magazine, then Id recommend the taller 9-13 height bipods.

In years gone by, I wouldve needed an adapter if I wanted to mount the bipod directly.

Bipods provide stability for improved accuracy and precision. However, all bipods are not created equal. Understanding things like methods of attachment and adjustable legs can inform your purchasing decision.

If I wanted to make it QD, I wouldve needed an accessory rail and a bipod adapter.

The integrated adapter is finely machined from aluminum and anodized a matte black that matches the bipod well.

I am confident that this hardware will be able to stand up to use and abuse.

The author’s Springfield Armory SAINT Victor served as one of the test platforms for the Harris Bipod.

Behind The Gun

I mounted the bipod on my Springfield SAINT Victor and Springfield Waypoint 2020.

It wouldve been impossible with a 30-rounder.

It will all come down to what youre shooting and the situation.

The author found that the Harris S-BRM M-Lok bipod worked with the AR-platform, but the leg length put it on the edge of too short when using longer magazines. A variant with longer legs might be a good alternative.

The part number for it is GTSW235.

This bipod, model S-BRM-MLOK, is available from Harrisbipods.com for $148.25, not including shipping.

m-lok t-nuts

M-Lok attachment points use captive T-nuts to affix the accessory to the rifle. You can see the top of these fasteners through the right-most M-Lok relief.

The M-Lok attachment to the SAINT’s rail was solid with no wiggle that could introduce accuracy issues.
