The series is described as a mix between the original long-running format and Survivor.

The series, which is based on Banijays Dutch format, previously ran on NBC from 2005 and 2009.
It returned with host Howie Mandel for a holiday special in 2018 and then ran original episodes on CNBC.
Mandel will exec produce the new version, but no word whether he will also host.
NBC is also brining a new spin toAGT.
Simon Cowell, Sam Donnelly and Jason Raff are the executive producers.
