I for one can say that I am obsessed with all of them.

Continuous Precision transformed the Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy with unique slide cuts and texturing. It can be described as aggressive, yet refined.
I got him the pistol and the basic parameters and let him go to work.
What Jeff did to the pistol completely blew my mind.
Lets start with the frame and then move up.
The silver DLC coating adds durability and a sleek finish to the custom Prodigy. Continuous Precision’s attention to detail shines in every aspect of this build.
Great Lakes has been doing custom hand-stippling and grip modifications for more than 10 years.
They do work for many law enforcement agencies, competitive shooters and trainers all over the country.
He went to work with a slight grip reduction off the backstrap and adaptation of the Springfield grip texturing.
With a newly stippled grip, the customized Prodigy handled like a dream. The author appreciated the balance and control provided by Great Lakes Custom Works’ attention to the grip module.
After the border had been laid, he went in and filled it with a texture I chose.
Their stuff is highly practical and usable, and it looks great like it should.
In fact, the entire front of the slide got reworked for a much more aggressive look.
The author’s custom Prodigy “2.0” boasts enhanced forward serrations and slide cuts. A green front fiber optic sight offers a bright aiming point through a range of lighting conditions.
Jeff took the rounded edges off and gave the slide a tri-cut angle with a flat top.
These windows look awesome, matching the serrations perfectly while cutting a bit more weight out of the slide.
To top the slide off, a Continuous Precision logo was machined into the top of the slide.
This customized 1911 DS Prodigy includes Continuous Precision’s custom magazine extensions. The author found them particularly useful for quick reloads.
Naturally, I added them to each magazine to really enhance the overall look and functionality.
The fit of the slide to the frame felt like it was running on ball bearings.
This is an amazing adaptation of the base pistol at a price that still comes in under the competition.
The tri-cut slide design, lightening cuts and added serrations give the pistol a very unique look. The author credits Continuous Precision for a build that’s both functional and visually striking.
I personally would put this Prodigy 2.0 up against those competitors any day.
