Aubrey Plazareached new levels of notoriety after starring in the second season ofThe White Lotus.
The actor made an appearance onThe Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallonwhere she talked about not landing theSNLgig.
Plaza said that for the audition, she performed two characters that were seemingly incredibly quirky.

I was just trying to like, sex up the news or something.
Her second character was a little more cringe, which Plaza described as a pill-popping housewife.
Like I would say, Lindsay Lohan would have a bushy squirrels tail.
Or, like, Bill Clinton would have a polar bears nub.'
Despite not landing a spot on theSNLcast, Plaza did intern on the show.
Now theParks & Recreationalum will return to Studio 8H as thehost of the sketch show this weekend.
